Surly is not just me who dreads the chore of shaving? I’ve battled with shaving rash, being overwhelmed with the number of different blades to choose from in the shops, then the decision of, what shaving foam to buy? if you’ve been there, FFS (friction free shaving) is the answer you’ve been waiting for.

FFS is a women’s razor delivery service. Once subscribed you can pick the frequency of your deliveries, and the boxes are small enough to fit through your letterbox, so you don’t have to worry if you’re not at home, you can also get your name engraved which is a nice little personal touch.
There are certain things that FFS pride themselves on, and I can thoroughly understand why. Another little touch they have is that sometimes you get a free item in the box also which is exciting, I’ve had a little pouch, some tweezers, which are fab with a slanted end, and a compact mirror.
‘Say Goodbye To Razor Rash’
Friction Free Shaving’s blades have six diamond-coated blades, a precision trimmer blade, a lubrication strip, a flexible head, and an ergonomic handle. All of these touches help avoid skin irritation and shaving precision to help avoid little nicks.
‘Shave The Planet’
Say goodbye to reusable plastic handles polluting the world, and say hello to FFS’s reusable metal handle, all their postage packaging is recyclable, plus they have a blade recycling scheme, all you have to do is save one of their shipping boxes, and send the blades back to them… they’ll do the rest.
All of their products are cruelty-free, they’ve never tested on animals, and they have a ‘leaping bunny certificate’. All of this means that all of their products are vegan friendly.
‘3 Step Shaving System’
Smooth, Remove, Soothe. FFS also sells award-winning creams with manuka honey, shea butter, and coconut oil in, these are a pre-shave scrub, a shave cream, and a post-shave balm. You can add these to your blade subscriptions, or you can simply order them as a one-off as and when you need them. My favourite is their post-shave balm, however, they are sold out of all these except for their shave cream and their new natural deodorant.
I cannot fault FFS, I must admit, I’m still not fantastic at shaving, as I’m writing this I don’t remember the last time I shaved my legs, (whoops) but its more satisfying when I do… that’s what I’m telling myself.
